Copyright Ownership
All original content on the FarmingPal platform — including but not limited to the website design, graphics, logos, icons, text, software code, and the FarmingPal name and brand — is the property of FarmingPal and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws in Canada, the United States, and internationally.
You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, modify, or create derivative works from any FarmingPal-owned content without our prior written permission.
User-Submitted Content
By submitting pricing data, listings, messages, job postings, or other content ("User Content") to the Service, you represent and warrant that:
- You own the content or have the right to submit it
- Your content does not infringe any third-party copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other intellectual property right
- Your content does not violate any applicable law
You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting it, you grant FarmingPal a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, modify, and display that content in connection with operating and improving the Service.
DMCA Takedown Notices
FarmingPal respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and equivalent Canadian copyright legislation. If you believe that content on our platform infringes your copyright, please submit a written notice to our designated agent containing all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorized agent
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
- Identification of the infringing material and information reasonably sufficient to locate it on the Service (e.g., a URL)
- Your contact information, including name, address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf

Counter-Notice
If you believe content was removed from the Service in error as a result of a DMCA notice, you may submit a counter-notice to our designated agent. A counter-notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address, and a statement that you consent to jurisdiction in the federal district court for your judicial district (or equivalent Canadian court)
Repeat Infringers
FarmingPal has a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights.
Trademark
The FarmingPal name, logo, and related marks are trademarks of FarmingPal. Nothing in these Terms or on the Service grants you any right to use the FarmingPal trademarks without our prior written consent.
